The behaviour – culture nexus is a two way street

Through shared purpose, values, beliefs and reinforcing norms, an organisational culture generates a set of behaviours which create specific results.

Equally, development and sustained use of new behaviours will change a culture over time.

This insight enables the acceleration of cultural improvements and business results delivery – focus on generating the few critical behaviours which deliver desired business results, and allow the organisational culture to change over time (don’t try to change the entire culture)
